2019 Supreme Renovation Winner at Master Builder's House of the Year

A villa in Northcote Point, remodelled by Broswick Builders, has won the Supreme Renovation of the Year award in Auckland. Judges said the full update of a white weatherboard villa was so well executed it was almost impossible to tell where the old house ended and the new began.
"The builder has painstakingly sourced matching products like the timber windows, doors, flooring and mouldings. Large timber sliding doors on to flush timber decking have been beautifully installed. This is a beautiful renovation and is more than worthy of the supreme renovation award."

We have entered two properties in the Renovation $500,000 - $1 million in Registered Master Builder’s House of the Year. Having entered before, we know how valuable this competition is for our business, team, and our clients.
Our team strives to do their best work, and by entering House of the Year this year we want to acknowledge our team and their hard work. The House of the Year awards epitomise the best in the industry and they have been setting the standard in residential construction for over a quarter of a century.

Renovated Devonport bathrooms hit a bright note
New bathrooms are often right at the top of the list of renovation projects. And there may well be space limitations, but that doesn't mean you have to compromise good design.
These two bathrooms, which were part of the extensive renovation of a character home in Devonport, show just what can be achieved in a small space.

Gold Reserve Winner Master Builders House of the Year Nationals

Our renovation on Oxford Tce has been a Gold Reserve winner at the 2015 Registered Master Builders House of the Year Competition in the $250,000-$500,000 category.
Each property is judged against a scorecard of 2000 points (1300 Workmanship and 700 Design, Style and Functionality). Properties are then awarded either Gold, Silver, Bronze or no award. To receive a gold award a property must achieve at least 1800 points to receive a Gold Reserve award must be in the top 100 properties across all categories nationally.

The extension makes great use of the tricky triangular site.Fostering the home’s historical ties, original features have been fixed and finessed. Metal ceilings in the entry hall and formal living room are a beautiful example of this. Materials and colours have been chosen to enhance the existing home.
